As you know, there are many ways offered to stop smoking. The problem is they don’t work - UNLESS you want to quit! The only way you can effectively quit is to want to quit. Sounds easy, but many people don’t think they can do it alone. As a result, they want something to do it for them and they usually turn to nicotene gum, the patch, self-help tapes, etc. Again, the only true way to quit is to change your mind. Hypnosis can help you change your mind simply and easily. When you completely relax your mind it becomes much more able to accept and embrace new concepts and change behavior more easily.
While in hypnosis, the smoker hears everything that is said and will not accept anything that he/she doesn’t want. The smoker is given direct suggestions on how to stop their self-sabotaging behavior. Hypnosis does not try to improve on your will power. Instead it changes your way of thinking about the triggers that keep you smoking. In place of those old triggers are new, positive, confident feelings of achievement and improved self-esteem so that you remain a non-smoker for life.
