Leonard wrote about indecision in his book, Bridging Heaven and Earth, as part of his overall writing about Presence. His ideas about the Law of Attraction are insightful and helpful and that's why they've been included here verbatim. You may think you've been following the Law of Attraction and notice that "nothing is happening." However, in truth, it is often because you have not come to the point of making a choice about what you want in life. Every alternative is already available - no, is already here - waiting for you to make a true choice. The problem is most people don't understand that there are more parts of them than just their conscious mind.
Other parts of you are constantly at work, along with your conscious mind. Your subconscious mind is probably the strongest determinor of what will take place in your life. If your subconscious mind is harboring doubt or indecision, then what Leonard wrote about will happen even stronger than if you are consciously indecisive. The question then arises, "how do I even know if my subconscious mind is indecisive?" Well, you can watch the results you're getting in your life to determine whether there's a part of you holding back.
For example, if you've made up your conscious mind to do something and you've taken steps to move forward with it, yet it still hasn't happened, it's a pretty good indicator that another part of you (perhaps your subconscious mind) has a different agenda or has made a different choice. Look at the outcome to determine if there is a dissonance within you. If there is, you can consciously ferret out the negative factor and use EFT to eliminate it. But you must first know what thoughts within you are saying "no" when the rest of you is saying "yes" before you can do anything to change the situation.
If you have difficulty in determining whether another part of you is saying "no", then simply assume it is there if your results are not what you want and then tap on that issue using words to the effect:
"Even though I don't know what is happening within me, I know things aren't working out the way I planned. Therefore, I must be at odds within myself somewhere within. Yet, I love and accept myself nonetheless."
"Even though I don't like what is happening within me, I realize that some part of me still hasn't made a true decision yet and I now address that part of me. I love myself and I love that part of me no matter what happens."
"I know that part of me wants to make a true decision about this issue, yet some part of me keeps holding me back. I now give that part of me permission to let go of its indecision and join with the rest of me in my true decision - once and for all. And I love all parts of me equally."
"I forgive myself for being divided and accept myself fully and completely."
"I now let go of any reservations, fears, anxiety or worry attached to making this decision and accept myself completely."
"I now embrace the prospect of change in my life and accept myself fully and completely."
Once you no longer feel any negative feelings about being indecisive and/or feel no more indecisiveness, then change your tapping hand to the opposite hand and say the following Choice phrases for each round of tapping:
"I now let go of any last vestiges of indecisiveness in my life."
"I now choose to be decisive in this area of my life."
"I choose to be decisive in all areas of my life."
"I now choose to be consistent in my decisions in life and eliminate all remaining indecision."
"I let go and let God."
"I allow myself to be capable and consistent in the choices I make and I embrace my final choice as my true decision."
"I know that even after I've made a true decision, I can still make a different choice later if I change my mind. But, for now, this is my final decision on this issue."
I trust these phrases will help you eliminate all remaining indecision in your life and allow you to make a true decision on those things that are important to you. Remember, it's important that you come to one choice so that God is given a direction to help you on your way. Otherwise, without direction, all movement and momentum stops while the Universe awaits further direction - from you. Make a choice.
Blessings,
Ted
