THE ESDAILE LEVEL WORKSHOP

My favorite workshop was called Working at the Esdaile Level, the "coma" level of hypnosis. It is the level you reach when a person is taken into such a deep state of hypnosis and comfort that they find they don't want to move their body at all. At those levels, you can place their arms and legs straight out and they will leave them there for extended periods of time without any discomfort whatsoever.

Interestingly, they will get down to the deepest level of mind which allows them to heal anything within themselves. I observed such an event on Sunday and was amazed at how well it worked.

In the workshop, the hypnotist, Ines Simpson from Canada, took the subjects into what is known as Ultra-Height hypnosis, the very heights of the mind, and she put them in touch with their Higher Spirit and their Spirit Guides so they could ask any questions they might have and receive answers immediately. It is always awesome to watch as people access something they rarely feel or experience and watch as they solve the riddles of their lives on the spot. It was an extremely moving display and I learned the technique this time. Usually, I'm one of the demonstration "victims" so I don't get to learn much, so this time I stepped aside and watched and learned instead. An Amazing event!

I will be offering this class soon.

NGH CONVENTION REPORT
HOW TO FLOURISH IN A RECESSION CLASS (THANKS CHRIS!)
Ted Robinson
The second class I presented at this year's NGH Convention in Massachusetts was a two-hour workshop on achieving business success during challenging times. I prepared a slideshow presentation and brought along my laptop and projector and when I checked to see if it would work just before the event - only half of each slide showed up! I was very upset, to say the least, and didn't know exactly what I was going to do about it. After calling Theresa, my paralegal and webmaster, to find a solution and none could be had from a distance on the phone, I decided to relax and just see what developed when I arrived at the room. I decided if I had to do without the slideshow, that's what I would do.

When I arrived at the lecture room and started to set up the equipment a young AV man walked in to set up my microphone for recording and I asked if he knew anything about how to set up a projector. He said yes, but he wasn't familiar with my unit. Nonetheless, he said he'd try. Within just a few minutes (as people were walking in the room to take the class and the room was filling up) he worked out the problem and we had the slideshow available with a minute to spare. Amazing! His name was Chris and I thanked him, but I wanted to acknowledge him in this newsletter. It is my hope that someone reading this will pass it on to him. To him it seemed commonplace to fix a computer/projector connection. To me it was Nirvana. Thank you again Chris!

The rest of the presentation went so well that when the two hours was up and there were two or three slides left to show, almost every one stayed to listen until the very end. There were also lots of additional suggestions for business success offered by attendees that they were using and they were obviously seeking more information with which to flourish in these challenging times. It is a tribute to the resilient nature of everyone to succeed in any environment.

As for the rest of the convention, all in all, it was a great success. More than twelve hundred people from all over the world attended.  People came from as far away as Australia (a big contingent) to Hong Kong and India. All of those people come to share what they know and learn what they can to help improve their abilities as Hypnotists so they can help heal the world. It's an unbelievable experience to see so many people striving to learn more each day. They are all truly lifetime learners.

The convention has just about every type of class and workshop you can imagine, from Past Life Regressions, spiritual hypnosis, pain relief, anxiety and stress relief to workshops on how to run a teleconference or on line radio or television show. There were also a great number of marketing workshops to help people figure out how to be successful in the burgeoning new field of alternative health care.  It was a wonderful weekend.

Blessings,
Ted
