The CENTER FOR INNER HEALING is an intimate and convenient place to heal the “Inner You.” It is centrally located at 175 West Old Country Road in Hicksville (see directions) and is within walking distance (4 blocks) from the Long Island Railroad Hicksville Station, yet, once you are inside the Center, it is quiet, serene and comfortable. Our Center is used for both individual healing sessions and pastoral counseling, as well as group sessions. We hold evening EFT tapping sessions and weekend and week-day group sessions for up to twenty people. We also selectively offer our Center to those who wish to lecture to groups or conduct individual healing sessions.

TED and MARIA ROBINSON work at the Center conducting healing seminars and regular group healing sessions, as well as couple counseling sessions. These are all in the nature of pastoral counseling sessions. Both Ted and Maria are ordained Interfaith Ministers and use their unique backgrounds as ministers to help others effectuate profound changes in their lives. They have a unique ability to play off one another's strengths and insights in order to bring about the best results. They also work independently since some people want the feminine side and others want the masculine approach. They are available for telephone interviews and they can use Emotional Freedom Technique very effectively over the phone.

Below are individual biographies of each that are intended to give you greater insights about them and how they can help you.

TED ROBINSON has a number of interests in life. They vary from being an Interfaith Minister to hypnotism, Emotional Freedom Technique to Reiki, Sculpture, gardening, sailing, to being a lawyer. Probably the most compelling aspect of his life right now is practicing EFT and hypnotism within his ministry and his law practice. These areas of interest allow him to assist others in their own healing and spiritual development within the context of their lives as they exist right now.

Ted started out as a sculptor after attending Hofstra University and Brooklyn Law School. He won numerous awards and prizes throughout the metropolitan area and was part of the most prestigious art shows in New York City. He had numerous shows in New York City and on Long Island before moving into the field of law to become a trial attorney for the past 31 years.

This all leads to his present involvement in the Ministry and the healing arts of Hypnotism, Emotional Freedom Technique and Reiki. He became a certified Hypnotist in 1999 and is certified by the National Guild of Hypnotist, Inc. While completing his initial certification course in hypnotism, something oddly fortuitous happened. Ted experienced the worst pain he had ever known in his left eye and nothing he did made any difference until the instructor's assistant came up to him and asked if he would like some help with his eye. After saying yes, she proceeded to "tap" on points around his face, body and hand and within two minutes the pain completely subsided. Ted immediately realized that this was a profound healing technique and immediately set off on educating himself so that he could share it with others. He initially took the generalized courses and then took specialized courses from Gary Craig, the founder of EFT, and others in the field who held additional views on how to address problems through the energy system. He continues to gather new information from a multitude of sources in the energy field and elsewhere to assist others in their quest for self healing. He is also a Reiki Master practitioner and a 1st Level Integrated Energy practitioner.

MARIA KRAMER ROBINSON was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. After graduating from college with a specialty in foreign languages and ballet, she joined the Danish Ballet Theater as a member of the Corps de Ballet. In 1982 she immigrated to the United States and became a United States citizen. She later became a sales coordinator and Marketing Director with National Safety Associates and addressed groups as large as 2500 people.

Maria has independently studied alternative healing and nutrition for the last twenty years. She formed her own maintenance company in New Jersey and then became a certified Hypnotist in 1999. She later became an Instructor of Integrated Energy Technique and teaches this unique specialty from our Center. She also became interested and studied EFT, taking the various courses including the Palace of Possibilities and the basic Emotional Freedom Technique courses. She later traveled to Flagstaff, Arizona for an advanced course and seminar with the developer, Gary Craig.

Maria regularly attends the National Guild of Hypnotists national conference which consists of an intensive series of courses on advanced hypnotism and other energy courses. She is also a Reiki Master and is able to attune other Reiki practitioners. She also utilizes soft touch therapy in her work.

NOTIFICATION AND WAIVER

While we believe that EFT works well with many symptoms, it is still theoretical in nature and there is no universally accepted scientific explanation for its efficacy or lack thereof.

Ted and Maria Robinson have both taken numerous educational courses on Hypnotism and are both certified Hypnotists by the National Guild of Hypnotists and other organizations. While they have also taken a number of courses on EFT, neither of them are credentialed or licenced therapists or health care professionals in that area. It should be noted that there are no credentials available in EFT at the present time as it is still in the developmental stages.

We do not offer any medical or psychological care or advice other than to advise all clients that they are always ultimately responsible for their own health care and if they want medical, psychological or psychiatric care or advice, they should see a medical or mental health care professional.

We also always advise every client to obtain a waiver or referral from their primary care doctor or other medical professional or their mental health care professional before utilizing EFT or Hypnosis. Certainly each client should not discontinue or modify any medication presently being taken pursuant to medical advice without obtaining medical approval.
In the event that a client fails to obtain a medical referral prior to treatment, they assume all risk and responsibility for any adverse outcome that might result from using EFT or Hypnosis.

The Center for Hypnotherapy and Emotional Freedom Technique assumes no liability to any client or third party for any damages or injury which may result from any treatment that has been rendered in good faith in either discipline.
